When you register, we store your name, username, email, language preference and a password hash, not your readable password. Your account may also contain favorites, shopping lists, pantry entries, cooking events, ratings and personal notes. An inquiry stores your name, email, suggested recipe, cuisine, message, language, date and an account reference if you are signed in.
Essential cookies keep your session secure, remember your chosen language and, if you select it, keep you signed in. Session records include browser information and activity times. Rate limits use a hashed network address to reduce abuse. The web server may record requests, network addresses and errors for operation and security. The current site does not include advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics.
We use this information to operate accounts, save your cooking tools, show recently viewed recipes, review requests, maintain security and troubleshoot problems. We do not sell your personal information or use inquiry email addresses for marketing.
Other visitors cannot see your shopping lists, cooking history, ratings, personal notes or inquiry contact details. Authorized administrators can review inquiries. Administrators and hosting providers may need access to stored data for maintenance, security or handling your requests. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law. Private data is not a public recipe review.
Account information is stored in the service database while your account is in use. Requests are retained for review and follow-up; closing a request does not delete it. Security logs and backups may be retained separately. We use access controls, password hashing and request protections, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Do not put sensitive personal information in recipe notes or submissions.
You can edit your profile in Settings, sign out, manage saved lists and recipes, and remove a home-screen shortcut from your device. Browser cookie controls can clear local preferences and sign-in information. For access, correction or deletion of stored personal information, use our inquiry form and select “Privacy or account request.” The administrator will review the request and may need to verify ownership. Removing a phone shortcut does not delete your account or server data.
Antojito is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. If our data practices change, we will update this page and its date.
Antojito currently does not run advertising.
